He and Angelina Jolie <a href=\"http:\/\/blog.sfgate.com\/dailydish\/2012\/09\/10\/brad-pitt-defends-gun-laws\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">own guns<\/a> for self-protection.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"tr_bq\"><p>\n<i>Pitt tells British magazine Live, \u201cI absolutely don\u2019t believe you can put sanctions or shackles on what is made. Nor do I want to pretend the world is different than what we witnessed that night\u2026<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAmerica is a country founded on guns. It\u2019s in our DNA. It\u2019s very strange but I feel better having a gun. I really do. I don\u2019t feel safe, I don\u2019t feel the house is completely safe, if I don\u2019t have one hidden somewhere.
