They, along with a few others, usually have everything I need. Well, thanks to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thefirearmblog.com\/blog\/2015\/08\/17\/diy-410-staplegun-revolver\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">a post on The Firearm Blog<\/a>, I may be revising my choice on where to get gun parts.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m thinking it just might be Lowes. That&#8217;s because they a good selection of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lowes.com\/Search=stapleguns?storeId=10151&amp;langId=-1&amp;catalogId=10051&amp;N=0&amp;newSearch=true&amp;Ntt=stapleguns#!\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">staple guns<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Staple guns and firearms? Huh?<\/p>\n<p>I would have said the same until I saw this video by Clint Westwood who used a staple gun as the basis for a 4-shot .410 shotgun.<\/p>\n<p>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" allowfullscreen=\"\" frameborder=\"0\" height=\"315\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/Y0gYyPpPp6o\" width=\"560\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>\nHe calls it the Kaulkinator and has a photo log of the building process <a href=\"https:\/\/plus.google.com\/u\/0\/photos\/101083597357673892226\/albums\/6054216427539139489?sort=1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>You can see the Kaulkinator or K-441 in action in the video below. If you think about it, this could be the Liberator pistol of our generation. I really like what Cody Wilson is doing with <a href=\"https:\/\/defdist.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Defense Distributed<\/a> but this is even easier and you don&#8217;t need a 3-D printer.<\/p>\n<p>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" allowfullscreen=\"\" frameborder=\"0\" height=\"315\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/3-6jimx05MU\" width=\"560\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>As to the legality of it, so long as the barrels are rifled, then it would be classified as a pistol just like the Taurus Judge. Otherwise, it would be a short-barreled shotgun and fall into the NFA realm.
