Now <a href=\"https:\/\/www.trijicon.com\/na_en\/products\/product1.php?id=MRO\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Trijicon is has released their MRO<\/a>&nbsp;(Miniature Rifle Optic)&nbsp;which seems to be directly aimed at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.aimpoint.com\/us\/products\/all-products\/product-singleview\/product\/Micro%20T-1\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Micro T-1<\/a> and<a href=\"http:\/\/www.aimpoint.com\/us\/products\/all-products\/product-singleview\/product\/Micro%20T-2\/?cHash=39ae89003d6bda9578343215ea86c3a9\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> Micro T-2<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\">\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.trijicon.com\/na_en\/assets\/image\/MRO-Features8.jpg\" imageanchor=\"1\" style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" height=\"261\" src=\"https:\/\/www.trijicon.com\/na_en\/assets\/image\/MRO-Features8.jpg\" width=\"400\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<p>\nTrijicon is claiming a 5 year battery life. If you look at the picture above of the MRO, you can see that it is is cone-shaped and not tubular. Trijicon claims this makes for faster target acquisition and better situational awareness.<\/p>\n<p>The scope isn&#8217;t cheap. The MSRP is $579 without the mount which costs in the $50-60 range depending upon height but it is still slightly cheaper than the Aimpoint product. That said, if it is like any Trijicon product, it will be well made and rugged.<\/p>\n<p>I don&#8217;t see this new red dot as a game changer but I do see it as giving the customer more choices for small, ultra-rugged, military-grade red dot optics.
