Paul LePage (R-ME) signed LD 652 which makes Maine the latest constitutional carry state. While constitutional carry went into effect <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kansascity.com\/news\/government-politics\/article17232419.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">on July 1st in Kansas<\/a>, New Hampshire Gov. Maggie Hassan (D-NH) <a href=\"http:\/\/www.guns.com\/2015\/07\/07\/new-hampshires-governor-vetoes-constitutional-carry-legislation\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">vetoed a similar constitutional carry bill<\/a> on Monday. She had promised the Demanding Mommies she&#8217;d veto the law when it crossed her desk.<\/p>\n<p>The text of the bill can be found <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mainelegislature.org\/legis\/bills\/getPDF.asp?paper=SP0245&amp;item=1&amp;snum=127\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a>. It will go into effect 90 days after the legislature adjourns for the session.<\/p>\n<p>The NRA-ILA just released a couple of news items on the bill&#8217;s signing.
