That is scheduled for tomorrow and more amendments may be expected to come up.<\/p>\n<p>I think Paul Valone must be as pissed off about this as I am. November 2016 will be here sooner than many of these so-called Second Amendment supporters realize. Indeed, some of them may end up getting primaried.<\/p>\n<p>The letter below mentions GRNC will be watching. I know this is a GRNC alert but I might add in that it will be both GRNC and the NRA that will be watching. Let these politicians figure out which one can harm them the most.<\/p>\n<p>You may want to send a special message to <a href=\"http:\/\/onlygunsandmoney.blogspot.com\/2015\/06\/naming-names-nc-republicans-who.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">those Republicans that I highlighted in my earlier post<\/a>. Allen McNeill (R-Randolph)<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ncleg.net\/gascripts\/members\/viewMember.pl?sChamber=H&amp;nUserID=389\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Rep. David Lewis (R- Harnett)<\/a>, and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ncleg.net\/gascripts\/members\/viewMember.pl?sChamber=H&amp;nUserID=309\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Rep. Brig. Gen. Well, guess what? They&#8217;re showing their true colors.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>                                                                     <span style=\"font-family: Calibri, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\"><br \/>\n                                                                     In<br \/>\nwhat can only be described as a display of sheer cowardice, several<br \/>\namendments that have considerably weakened H562 (including an amendment<br \/>\nto leave<br \/>\nthe dangerous pistol purchase permitting process in place) were passed<br \/>\nduring the bill&#8217;s second reading in the House today. Given the<br \/>\nconsiderable<br \/>\nRepublican majority in the house, this can only mean one thing: many of<br \/>\nthe &#8220;pro gun&#8221; Republicans care more about the NC Sheriffs&#8217;<br \/>\nAssociation than they care about you.<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\">.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;\">                                   <\/p>\n<div align=\"justify\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<br \/> <br \/>\n                                          <span style=\"font-family: Calibri, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\"><br \/>\n                                          Still unwilling to give up their cash cow, even after <a href=\"http:\/\/paracom.paramountcommunication.com\/ct\/28461422:27323250447:m:1:345463350:3D567E8830A2E96779D8B03670E81A02:r\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">admitting that the pistol purchase<br \/>\npermit system is fraught with problems<\/a>, it&#8217;s becoming clear where the loyalties of many of our Republican house members rests.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>                                                                     <span style=\"font-family: Calibri, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\"><br \/>\n                                                                     The<br \/>\nfight isn&#8217;t over, though, and we need to flood the inboxes and voicemail<br \/>\n mailboxes of our House members. Demand that H562 pass third reading<br \/>\ntomorrow<br \/>\nwithout any more crippling amendments.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>                                                   <span style=\"font-family: Calibri, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\"><br \/>\n We would like to<br \/>\ntake a moment to thank Speaker Moore, though, for bringing the bill to<br \/>\nthe house floor for a vote, and for the votes of the House Patriots that<br \/>\n did<br \/>\ntheir best to stop these damaging amendments.
