Pretty much it said if it wasn&#8217;t for those damn Second Amendment types we&#8217;d have &#8220;safer&#8221; (sic) guns.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/sipseystreetirregulars.blogspot.com\/2014\/08\/from-land-of-great-ideas-and.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">In his post about this story,<\/a> Mike Vanderboegh. never one to mince words, had this wonderful headline:<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"tr_bq\"><p>\n<b><i>From the land of great ideas and engineering (You know, the folks who brought us Zyklon B). When some German starts talking about how Americans &#8220;must&#8221; do something, I get nervous.<\/i><\/b><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>To refresh your memory, <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Zyklon_B\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Zyklon B. was a cyanide-based pesticide<\/a> developed by German chemical conglomerate IG Farben in the 1920s.
