I had prided myself on not getting the supposed &#8220;SHOT Show crud&#8221; and thought it a bit of a myth.<\/p>\n<p>I was wrong. It is not a myth. It is a real thing.<\/p>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\">\n<a href=\"https:\/\/onlygunsandmoney.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/Iwasgoingtobemagnificent.jpg\" imageanchor=\"1\" style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" data-original-height=\"481\" data-original-width=\"494\" height=\"310\" src=\"https:\/\/onlygunsandmoney.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/Iwasgoingtobemagnificent.jpg\" width=\"320\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<p>I was fine while in Las Vegas and on the extended plane trip home. However, on Monday I started getting a bit of a raspy throat and a tickle which led to a cough. Wednesday I started sneezing. If the &#8220;SHOT Show Crud&#8221; includes a typical winter cold, then I have the SHOT Show Crud.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\">\n<a href=\"https:\/\/onlygunsandmoney.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/head-cold.jpg\" imageanchor=\"1\" style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" data-original-height=\"217\" data-original-width=\"232\" height=\"299\" src=\"https:\/\/onlygunsandmoney.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/head-cold.jpg\" width=\"320\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<p>My roommate for the SHOT Show was <a href=\"https:\/\/gunculture2point0.wordpress.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">David Yamane of the GunCulture 2.0 blog<\/a>. He took <a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Airborne-Zesty-Orange-Effervescent-Tablets\/dp\/B000WZI4WY?th=1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Airborne <\/a>every morning and every evening. I should have done the same!<\/p>\n<p>I was meticulous about hand washing and trying to stay hydrated as well as getting enough sleep.
