Today, Ruger CEO Mike Fifer <a href=\"http:\/\/www.guns.com\/2014\/01\/16\/breaking-ruger-ceo-sets-record-straight-california-microstamping-video\/?utm_source=rss&amp;utm_medium=rss&amp;utm_campaign=breaking-ruger-ceo-sets-record-straight-california-microstamping-video&amp;utm_reader=feedly\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">clarified this in an interview with Guns.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"tr_bq\"><p>\n<i>\u201cWe\u2019re being forced out of the state by the California Department of Justice,\u201d explained Fifer. \u201cThis insistence on microstamping, which doesn\u2019t work, is denying you your rights to have access to these guns.\u201d<\/i><br \/>\n<i><br \/><\/i><br \/>\n<i>\u201cWe\u2019re not abandoning the [California] market at all, we are trying our hardest to stay in the market,\u201d he continued. \u201cWe\u2019re committed to California and we\u2019re fighting this every inch of the way.\u201d<\/i><br \/>\n<i><br \/><\/i><br \/>\n<i>In other words, they\u2019re not abandoning their fans, enthusiasts and customers in California.
