He was giving a lecture at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nam.ac.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">National Army Museum<\/a> in London in connection with a 2011-2012 exhibition. The exhibition was entitled <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nam.ac.uk\/exhibitions\/online-exhibitions\/draw-your-weapons\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">&#8220;Draw Your Weapons: The Art of Commando Comics&#8221;<\/a>.&nbsp; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.commandocomics.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Commando Comics<\/a> are a military oriented series of comic books dating from the 1960s that are still being published in the UK.<\/p>\n<p>These old WWII veterans fought in a brutal war where both strength and cunning were prized.
