If you read gun blogs for more than a day, you know Tam of <a href=\"http:\/\/booksbikesboomsticks.blogspot.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The View From The Porch blog<\/a>. She is, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ma-rooned.com\/2012\/11\/fundraiser-for-snark-mistress.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">as JayG called her recently<\/a>, the Snark Mistress. <\/p>\n<p>She is all that and more. She also, <a href=\"http:\/\/booksbikesboomsticks.blogspot.com\/2012\/11\/not-real-chatty-or-not-as-chatty-as.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">as she revealed on Friday<\/a>, has cancer. Tam has a basal cell carcinoma on her nose that will need to be removed. Fortunately, it is very treatable. The downside is that Tam <a href=\"http:\/\/booksbikesboomsticks.blogspot.com\/2012\/10\/the-suck.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">does not have health insurance<\/a>. I don&#8217;t care what form of cancer you have but when the docs utter the &#8220;C word&#8221; the price just went up. <\/p>\n<p>You can help Tam out by making a donation to the tip jar on her blog.
