Russell George, Treasury Inspector<br \/>\nGeneral for Tax Administration.<\/i><br \/>\n<i><br \/><\/i><br \/>\n<i>The<br \/>\n inspector general said agents used firearms in self-defense eight times<br \/>\n and accidentally fired their weapons 11 times during fiscal years 2009<br \/>\nthrough fiscal 2011.<\/i><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>&nbsp;I am reading the report now but I&#8217;d say &#8220;accidentally fired their weapons&#8221; is really negligently filed their weapons. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.treasury.gov\/tigta\/press\/press_tigta-2012-51.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">I think the Inspector General agrees with that<\/a> as well given his statement regarding potential liability for damages.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"tr_bq\"><p>\n<i>\u201cIt is imperative that Criminal Investigation ensure that all its<br \/>\nspecial agents are well trained,\u201d said J.
