As an aside, I wonder if this requirement will ever be expanded to include the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/search?q=yellow+safety+vest&amp;hl=en&amp;safe=off&amp;prmd=imvns&amp;tbm=isch&amp;tbo=u&amp;source=univ&amp;sa=X&amp;ei=kDlkUKQsj9zzBPyUgaAN&amp;ved=0CEIQsAQ&amp;biw=1405&amp;bih=722\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">safety yellow<\/a> that you see so many highway workers and public safety personnel wearing nowadays.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"tr_bq\"><p>\n<i>RALEIGH, N.C.  &#8211; The N.C. Wildlife Resources Commission&#8217;s Home From The<br \/>\nHunt\u2122 safety campaign is reminding hunters to follow blaze orange<br \/>\nrequirements.<\/p>\n<p>In North Carolina, hunters are required to wear a cap, hat or an outer<br \/>\ngarment in blaze orange that is visible from all sides when hunting<br \/>\nbear, feral hogs, deer, rabbit, squirrel, grouse, pheasant or quail with<br \/>\n a firearm. Hunters are also required to wear blaze orange while hunting<br \/>\n with a bow on Sunday during the muzzleloader or gun season.<\/i><br \/>\n<i><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Blaze orange, sometimes known as hunter orange, fluorescent orange or,<br \/>\nby some old-timers, as 10-mile cloth, is instantly recognizable and<br \/>\nsignals caution to the viewer,&#8221; said Travis Casper, state hunter<br \/>\neducation coordinator.<\/i><br \/>\n<i><\/p>\n<p>The Wildlife Commission recommends everyone wear blaze orange if they<br \/>\nare going to be outdoors in areas shared with hunters. Blaze orange<br \/>\nclothing stands out against an outdoor background and studies have<br \/>\nproven it increases visibility of the wearer in low light situations.<br \/>\nBlaze orange also can be helpful in locating someone lost or injured.<\/i><br \/>\n<i><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Throughout the various hunting seasons, the majority of folks are<br \/>\nresponsible and safe,&#8221; Casper said. &#8220;This state has an excellent hunting<br \/>\n safety record, which improves every year. But it isn&#8217;t perfect and we<br \/>\nwant to eliminate preventable incidents.&#8221;<\/i><br \/>\n<i><\/p>\n<p>All first-time hunting license buyers in North Carolina must complete a<br \/>\nhunter education course successfully.
