On this day in 1775, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.goarmy.com\/about\/what-is-the-army\/history.html\" class=\"rank-math-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Second Continental Congress formed the Continental Army<\/strong><\/a>.
