It makes the point that hunters and their money pays for conservation, provides meat to local communities, and provides an economic incentive to stop poaching and overgrazing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You may not agree with trophy hunting and that is your right. However, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/environment\/2019\/apr\/12\/ban-the-import-of-hunting-trophies\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" class=\"rank-math-link\">bans<\/a><\/strong> on trophy imports, <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Killing_of_Cecil_the_lion\" class=\"rank-math-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>public shaming<\/strong><\/a> of hunters, and <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/actionnetwork.org\/petitions\/stop-trophy-imports\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" class=\"rank-math-link\">calls for banning<\/a><\/strong> it outright will eventually lead to the extinction of many species.
