It contains the lyric, &#8220;We don&#8217;t get fooled again.&#8221; Unfortunately, it appears that no one in the NRA&#8217;s leadership is a Who fan or  at least doesn&#8217;t remember that song. That is because they did get fooled again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At last year&#8217;s Meeting of Members, Jason Selvig of the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.goodliars.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">comedy duo The Good Liars<\/a><\/strong> <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=WtRuWE0-jaE\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">trolled <\/a><\/strong>Wayne LaPierre on <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/onlygunsandmoney.com\/2022\/06\/01\/wayne-gets-punked-at-meeting-of-members.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">a resolution honoring him.<\/a><\/strong> He tried to get the members to chant &#8220;thoughts and prayers&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This year, Selvig&#8217;s partner Davram Stiefler did the honors. He spoke on Jeff Knox&#8217;s second resolution that called for a vote of no confidence in Wayne LaPierre. It is playing on Twitter, TikTok, and YouTube where it has received hundreds of thousands views.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">This year we went back to the NRA Convention and \u201cthanked\u201d Wayne LaPierre for protecting the \u201creal victims\u201d of gun violence &#8211; gun owners. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/TUZLMWjwAp\">pic.twitter.com\/TUZLMWjwAp<\/a><\/p>\u2014 The Good Liars (@TheGoodLiars) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/TheGoodLiars\/status\/1647705262483034112?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">April 16, 2023<\/a><\/blockquote> <script async=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>\n\n\n\n<p>Jeff Knox realized Wayne was just trolled. He even suggested to NRA Secretary John Frazer that speakers be required to hold up their voting credentials before being allowed to speak. That is a quite reasonable suggestion that will probably get blown off given that it came from Jeff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Selvig and Stiefler understand <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Rules_for_Radicals\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Alinsky&#8217;s Rule Number Five<\/a><\/strong> &#8211; &#8220;Ridicule is man&#8217;s most potent weapon. There is no defense. It is almost impossible to counterattack ridicule.
