Currently, the only chapters DSC has in the Southeast are in the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/charlestonsafariclub.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Low Country of South Carolina<\/a><\/strong> (Charleston) and in <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/dscgeorgiachapter.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Georgia<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"500\" height=\"240\" src=\"https:\/\/onlygunsandmoney.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/DSC-logo-Custom.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-33552\" srcset=\"https:\/\/onlygunsandmoney.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/DSC-logo-Custom.png 500w, https:\/\/onlygunsandmoney.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/DSC-logo-Custom-300x144.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>I received a text this past week from Emaneul &#8220;Kappie&#8221; Kapp announcing the formation meeting. He has been active in the Georgia Chapter and is helping organize the North Carolina Chapter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The meeting is scheduled for Saturday, September 16th, at 11am at<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/suffolkpunchbrewing.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> Suffolk Punch Bowl Brewing South End<\/a><\/strong>. The address is <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/maps\/place\/2911+Griffith+St,+Charlotte,+NC+28203\/@35.2004704,-80.8716963,17z\/data=!3m1!4b1!4m6!3m5!1s0x88569f6ce834a46f:0x66f3cfaf65785cda!8m2!3d35.200466!4d-80.8691214!16s%2Fg%2F11c27fzlv6?entry=ttu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">2911 Griffith St, Charlotte, NC<\/a><\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kappie told me in a follow-up email that DSC has approximately 100 members in North Carolina. I would add that even though there is a South Carolina Chapter, Charlotte is a lot closer than Charleston to the Upstate of SC as well as to Rock Hill. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>From what I understand, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.biggame.org\/dsc-staff\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Bruce Boroski, DSC Chapter Development Manager<\/a><\/strong>, will be joining Kappie at the meeting. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So if you live in NC, the Upstate, or the Rock Hill area and you have an interest in promoting the DSC mission of conservation, education, and advocacy, I would urge you to attend this meeting.
