Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham&#8217;s response was an unconstitutional ban on carry in Albuquerque and Bernalillo County. The US District Court said nope to that when it issued a <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.firearmspolicy.org\/federal-judge-issues-temporary-restraining-order-enjoining-new-mexico-governors-total-carry-ban\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.firearmspolicy.org\/federal-judge-issues-temporary-restraining-order-enjoining-new-mexico-governors-total-carry-ban\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">temporary restraining order<\/a><\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Given there are a number of effective prosecutorial and law enforcement strategies to deal with the criminal misuse of a firearm, I&#8217;m not sure what to make of this project of <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.newmexicanstopreventgunviolence.org\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.newmexicanstopreventgunviolence.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">New Mexicans To Prevent Gun Violence<\/a><\/strong> (sic). That said, I am skeptical a mural is going to stop a gang banger from doing what a gang banger does.
