The jurors reportedly are coming down to the court room.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>From <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/abcnews.go.com\/US\/jury-finds-nra-liable-mismanagement-wayne-lapierre-violated\/story?id=107269909\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/abcnews.go.com\/US\/jury-finds-nra-liable-mismanagement-wayne-lapierre-violated\/story?id=107269909\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ABC News<\/a><\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>After five days of deliberations, a jury in New York on Friday held the National Rifle Association liable for financial mismanagement and found that Wayne LaPierre, the group&#8217;s former CEO, corruptly ran the nation\u2019s most prominent gun rights group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The jury determined that LaPierre\u2019s violation of his duties cost the NRA $5,400,000, though he already repaid roughly $1.5 million to the organization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>LaPierre, staring forward with his hands clasped in his lap, sat in the first row of the gallery while the jury read the verdict.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>I will be adding to this post as more info becomes available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>UPDATE I: <\/strong> More from Erik Uebelacker on Twitter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Here&#39;s specifically what they ruled, as it relates to LaPierre. According to Scharf, the jury did not ban him unlike Wayne LaPierre. However, another report reports they found Frazer acted &#8220;inappropriately&#8221; but did not cause financial harm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thehour.com\/news\/article\/national-rifle-association-and-wayne-lapierre-are-18685224.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The AP by way of The Hour<\/a><\/strong> is reporting that &#8220;NRA omitted or misrepresented information in its tax filings and violated New York law by failing to adopt a whistleblower policy.&#8221;  There is no word yet on whether they were found guilty of retaliation against the whistleblowers.
