His excuse? That they would &#8220;make North Carolinians less safe.&#8221; Something we all know is not true.<br><br>Make no mistake: these vetoes are not about safety. It\u2019s about <strong>control.<\/strong><br><br>Several so-called &#8220;Republicans&#8221; dodged the vote entirely. Rather than standing with their constituents and defending liberty, they chose <strong>political self-preservation<\/strong> over the Constitution.<br><br>You should have seen the <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/click.e.grnc.org\/click\/gr9g-bv4pz-u7q0fw-swpjl61\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Alert<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0sent yesterday to address the betrayals by\u00a0<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/click.e.grnc.org\/click\/gr9g-bv4pz-u7q0fx-swpjl62\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ted Davis (R-Iredell)<\/a><\/strong> and <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/click.e.grnc.org\/click\/gr9g-bv4pz-u7q0fy-swpjl63\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Bill Brisson (R-Bladen, Sampson)<\/a><\/strong>\u2014now permanently branded the <strong>\u201cTreachery Twins.\u201d<\/strong> They voted <em>against<\/em> SB50, siding with the Left and betraying the very voters who put them in office. <br><br>Let us be crystal clear: if Davis and Brisson once again turn their backs on us during the override vote, <strong>they will be held responsible for killing permitless carry in North Carolina.<\/strong> GRNC\u2019s Political Victory Fund is watching.
