Carol Frampton and Curtis Jenkins have resigned effective Wednesday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The notice from John Frazer was received after 9pm last night.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Carol Frampton and Curtis Jenkins have now resigned from the Board.&nbsp; Please join us in thanking them for their service over many years.&nbsp; We now have 71 Board members.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Mrs. Frampton\u2019s term would have expired in 2028, so her resignation creates an additional vacancy to be filled by the mail ballot.\u00a0 (Rep. Jenkins\u2019s term would have expired in 2026, and therefore doesn\u2019t affect the election.)<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Members will now vote for the following seats:<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><em>Twenty-five three-year terms that expire in 2029<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Five two-year terms that expire in 2028<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Four one-year terms that expire in 2027<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>This means that a total of 35 directors will be elected if you count the 76th Director who will be elected at the Annual Meeting in April. The pool of candidates is effectively at 37 which means virtually all candidates will be elected. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Many have said this is a good opportunity to reduce the size of the Board. That was a topic that was raised today at the Special Committee on Organization. Many differing views were raised by all those who attended that committee meeting. While sentiment seems to be swaying towards a reduction in size, there was no clear consensus on how many, how it would be implemented, if there would then be a \u201cboard of advisors\u201d, and other similar concerns.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Amanda Suffecool who is now chair of this committee appointed Gen.
