Over the last few days I&#8217;ve been digging up the parts I&#8217;d accumulated over the years for a lightweight build. I found my <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.aeroprecisionusa.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Aero Precision<\/a><\/strong> stripped upper with a matching lower, I found my <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/doublestarusa.com\/arfx-skeleton-stock.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Doublestar ARFX skeleton stock<\/a><\/strong>, I found the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/cmctriggers.com\/product\/cmc-ar15-ar10-trigger-group-single-stage-flat\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CMC AR flat trigger<\/a><\/strong>, I found the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.odinworks.com\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.odinworks.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Odin Works<\/strong><\/a> red anodized lower parts, and all the little <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/knsprecisioninc.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">KNS Precision<\/a><\/strong> pins and parts I&#8217;d won years ago.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What I was missing was the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/faxonfirearms.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Faxon pencil barrel<\/a><\/strong> that I&#8217;d bought at a NRA Annual Meeting a few years ago plus the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/geissele.com\/alg-home\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ALG Defense EMR-V3 13&#8243; <\/a><\/strong>handguard. I thought these parts might be stored in one of three trunks where I have put extra pouches, ALICE and Molle gear, holsters, and a bunch of other stuff. I found the barrel almost right away in the topmost trunk. Then as I started looking in the second trunk I happened to look to the side and saw a box. I wondered what was in it and it was the ALG Defense handguards! But as both Ron Popeil and Billy Mays would say, &#8220;But wait, there&#8217;s more!&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Years ago I had bought a surplus Aimpoint Comp M4 red dot sight. I had lost track of where I had stored it. A new AA battery and it works perfectly. That upper was one of the first &#8220;tactical&#8221; uppers I bought as it had a full length handguard with Keymod slots. &#8220;Keymod&#8221; tells you how long ago I bought it! Digging through the trunks I found a sling bag that I plan to take with my on a trip next month as well as other stuff. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I have over the years taken advantage of Black Friday and other sales to buy parts and accessories at a discount. I try to keep up with where everything is stored but obviously I fail. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, today was just one of those days when everything just came together. Given my luck today I wonder if I ought to buy a lottery ticket.
