\nFlorida Carry issued a call late last week for legislators to eliminate gun-free zones, to authorize teachers with a CWFL to be allowed to carry in schools, and to immediately provide funding for a FASTER program.<\/p>\n

If you live in Florida, it’s time to hit these legislators up.<\/p>\n

\nOn Friday, Feb 16th, Florida Carry<\/span> called for the Florida Legislature to immediately:<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
    \n
  1. Pass emergency legislation to eliminate gun-free zones for law-abiding concealed carry licensees; <\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Pass
    \n emergency legislation authorizing all teachers in public schools who
    \npossess a CWFL to carry their licensed, concealed firearm if they so
    \nchoose, without repercussion; and<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Provide
    \n immediate funding of one million dollars in grants for county school
    \nboards and sheriffs to implement pilot programs of the
    \nFaculty\/Administrator Safety Training and Emergency Response (FASTER<\/em>) Program in the State of Florida.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n
    \nToday, the legislature is under attack.<\/div>\n
    \n<\/div>\n
    \nThe candidates who came to us as Florida Gun Owners during the primaries have now become lawmakers.<\/div>\n
    \n<\/div>\n
    \nThose lawmakers are now being pressured in to selling us out.<\/div>\n
    \n<\/div>\n
    \nWe have offered effective solutions to the violence of evil people.  Far too many legislators are not listening…<\/div>\n
    \n<\/div>\n
    \nWe have called for the legislature to fund <\/span>FASTER<\/em>, <\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
    \nInvestigate the non-response of the Broward County Sheriff’s office to a clear and present danger, to d<\/span><\/span>emand that the FBI account for its failure to investigate <\/span>multiple <\/span>reported threats, R<\/span>ecognize that “gun free zones” are not free of criminal <\/span>violence, and <\/span><\/span>Provide for the lawful defence of FL students.  <\/span><\/div>\n
