In addition to Blaser and Mauser rifles, they had the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sauer.de\/us\/products\/bolt-action-rifles\/sauer-100\/sauer-100-classic-xt\/features.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Sauer 100<\/a> which was their entry-level rifle.<\/p>\n<p>What really caught my eye about the Sauer 100 was the safety. As you can see in the picture below, it is a 3-position safety. All the way back locks both the trigger and the bolt, the middle notch locks the trigger, and all the way forward means the rifle is ready to fire.<\/p>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\">\n<a href=\"https:\/\/onlygunsandmoney.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/Sauer100safety.jpg\" imageanchor=\"1\" style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" height=\"400\" src=\"https:\/\/onlygunsandmoney.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/Sauer100safety.jpg\" width=\"300\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<p>\n.<br \/>\nThis replicates the Mauser 96\/98 &#8220;flag&#8221; safety in a more compact and convenient format.
