Since it takes so little to injure the feelings of the gun prohibitionists and cause hysteria, here is something else – free guns!

Aaron at Weapon-Blog has his list of contests in which you can win free guns and accessories. This month it seems tilted towards pocket guns and ARs.

In the pistol category, there are two Springfield XD-S pistols (both 9mm and .45 ACP), two Kahrs, and a Beretta Nano among other choices. In the rifle category, I count 6 AR-15s plus some very nice bolt rifles. Finally, if you want a new Mossberg shotgun, they have four listed including two Thunder Ranch 500s. Finally, there are just a ton of contests with all sorts of accessories ranging from Crimson Trace lasers to holsters to night vision devices.

I hope everyone has their Powerball tickets for tonight’s $425 million prize drawing. If you don’t win, might I suggest going to the Weapon-Blog and entering to win some of the fine firearms that are being offered. Given that you have a 1 in 175 millionth chance of winning the big Powerball prize, I think you might have some better odds there.

This month’s listing has 2 custom 1911s, a HK P30, at least 5 ARs, 2 Mossberg 500s, and that is just the beginning. There are also some nice bolt guns just in time for hunting season. Speaking of which, he also is now listing hunting trip giveaways including a woodland caribou in Newfoundland!

I see S&W M&Ps, Glocks, and Springfield XD-s pistols among the handguns and a number of ARs in the rifle category. Included in this selection of AR-15s are ones from makers such as Colt and Daniel Defense. In other words, top notch firearms!

This month I count a couple of 1911s,  a couple of Glocks, an HK P30, and a pair of Springfield Armory XdS pistols. As to rifles, I see nine ARs, a handful of nice bolt guns, and at least one AK-47. Shotguns are a little sparse but do include a Mossberg 500 Waterfowl Pump Shotgun as well as one on my list, the Mossberg 500 Bantam Tactical in 20 gauge.

Meanwhile in the long gun categories are at least 4 ARs, an AK, and several bolt action rifles. They also have the Mossberg 500 Bantam Tactical shotgun in 20 gauge. I had a chance to examine this shotgun closely at the NRA Annual Meeting and it is on my definite buy list for the Complementary Spouse.

Aaron at the Weapon-Blog has released his monthly list of gun contests. Given the virtual non-availability of firearms on the market, I’m a bit surprised that he could even find some.

The highlight of the pistols is a Les Baer .38 Super Stinger while the rifle list has a number of AR-15s. It may be one of the few places to find an AR without paying an arm and a leg.
