That is the draconian law pushed through so quickly that even law enforcement if prohibited from having more than 7 rounds in their magazines. NY(un)Safe stands for Secure Ammunition and Firearms Enforcement Act.
As you look through the pages of the graphic you need to ask yourself how the absence of a bayonet lug or a muzzle break will make the people of New York State any safer. The obvious answer is that it won’t.

Every cop I see in NYC standing around the the WTC with an M16 with all of those features…somone should arrest them
Makes me wanna take my SKS out and replace the stock to add two pistolgrips and an adjustable shoulder stock…it not only has a grenade launcher/flash hider and a bayonet mount, the bayonet is actually attached to the gun!
Scarier and scarier!
