Bloomberg’s Everytown is most aggrieved that representatives from civil rights organizations were on hand when new BATFE Director Robert Cekada signed off on a number of rules, regulations and interpretations intended as reforms.
They issued this picture.

The horror!
Even worse, I know many of those guys.

Holy moly. I count 34 regulatory changes. This is great. But…
Comment period. That’s 34 proposed rules that need us to provide our public comments in support, to ensure that Everytown and their ilk don’t overwhelm the commenting and cause some rethinking. A couple thoughts:
Are public comment numbers generally useful for gauging public support for regulations?
Are there particular proposals that are uncontroversial that we can probably ignore?
Will the NRA put up a web page with direct links for each proposal along with a synopsis and suggested comment format to make it easier for gun owners to be involved in the regulatory process? Seems like a perfect task for the NRA-ILA.
Agree but the problem is Bloomberg pays people to comment.
That, and 34 administrative rules which will go up in smoke when the next D takes 1600 unless they’re codified into legislation first.
