I was working on my travel arrangements for the NRA Annual Meeting in Houston when I came across this. I was pricing rental cars through Budget Rent-A-Car.
If you look closely, the cheapest vehicle is the Ford F-150 pickup truck. The rate for my intended rental period is $130 cheaper for the F-150 than for an economy car like the Chevy Aveo.
