by After my weekend in Tucson, I was looking for some good news. Thanks to Cocaine Mitch and the GOP majority in the Senate (minus RINO Susan Collins), I got it this evening.
Congratulations to Justice Amy Coney Barrett. I hope she has a long and distinguished career on the Supreme Court.
Also, congratulations are due to Justice Clarence Thomas who got the privilege of swearing in one of his own clerks as newest justice on the Supreme Court. I am sure he is one proud mentor.
It was great to stick a finger in the eyes of Hillary, Biden, Roberts and Reid all with one simple ceremony.
Now the Supreme Court needs to take up the PA vote fraud case again. I think they can do this since it was a tie the first time and anyway the PA Supreme Court did another one so that provides an opening.
A few weeks ago, I didn’t know Amy Coney Barrett at all. I detest watching those hearings, especially after Brett Kavanaugh. Still, I saw bits and pieces of the hearings, usually as highlights on other shows, and I was very impressed with her. Perhaps the iconic moment was the one where someone asked to see what notes she had and she just held up the blank note pad. She sat there absorbing metric tons of crap and remained as unflappable as anyone can imagine being.
Somebody noted it is impossible to rattle a mother of 7 by asking stupid questions.
