by I can’t disagree with this flowchart.
I also interpret it to mean a gun new to you and not necessarily new from the manufacturer. I wholeheartedly endorse giving new homes to those poor, innocent, no longer loved, used firearms sitting shivering in the cold dark of the back of the gun safe (cue Sarah McLachlan singing).
Somewhere in this chart the question, “Is your wife OK with the purchase?” needs to be asked and answered.
Theoretically there would then be a bubble that says “Is your wife OK with the purchase?”
Yes: {Go buy a new gun]
No: [Explain to her why it is important and necessary] -> [Go buy a new gun]
I suppose if it ensure domestic tranquility.
