Looking at the protests in England over the death of Henry Nowak, I’m left thinking maybe the protestors might need a couple of these for the Southampton police station. They were the ones who handcuffed Henry Nowak while he lay bleeding to death because they believed the lies of the killer rather than the victim.
It took Henry an hour to bleed out. If an artery or the liver had been hit, it would have been minutes so his death i on the police as well as the attacker. A hospital transport (at least in the US) would have saved him.
A guy I carpooled with had a brother in the Philadelphia Police Department. My car-buddy used to recount “funny” police stories his brother told him. One was about the time his crew had to drive a suspect around for six hours before he bled to death, and they could take him to the hospital.
