My friend Derek LeBlanc who heads the Kids Safe Foundation has created a number of 2A memes and infographics. I will be posting them on occasion.

Unless you are still stuck in the Nevada desert without electricity trying to make your way out from Burning Man, you have heard about the controversy surrounding Liberty Safes and their cooperation with the FBI. I could go into all the details but since you can read about it many places I won’t.
Liberty Safe was purchased by Monomoy Capital Partners back in 2021 for an undisclosed sum. As the Open Secrets website makes clear, virtually all of their political contributions go to Democrats. Charlie Kirk of Turning Point USA notes that some of the recent recipients of their largesse have been Senators Raphael Warnock (D-GA), John Fetterman (D-PA), and Mark Kelly (D-AZ). This is according to data from the Federal Elections Commission.
Suffice it to say but Liberty Safes has a PR nightmare on their hands. They are doing damage control. They say they have “revised their policies around cooperation with law enforcement” and that customers can request that their “access codes” be expunged from the Liberty Safe database. While this has been compared to the Bud Light fiasco, I think it is worse. It was an abuse of the customer’s personal privacy. People in the 2A community have long memories. They will forgive a firearm that is recalled for bugs but I don’t think they will forgive this so readily.
So on to the memes. I found some on forums and some with a Google search. If you have more, feel free to post them in the comments.
Note: The warrant was a search warrant of the person’s home and possession. It was not a subpoena or warrant issued directly to Liberty Safe.
I think the CEO of Liberty Safe probably feels the same way as the social media guy. His name, and I kid you not, is Joe Fail.
I saw this meme on Reddit and found it amusing. It compares watch guys to gun guys and finds they are similar.
Even funnier to me is that I own or have owned watches from all three companies and two of the three handgun makers. I am going to presume that Ruger owners have the Citizen Eco-Drives and that guys with old Hamilton Automatic watches use 1911s. Not sure where I’d put the guys wearing a Casio G-Shock.
Of course, right now I’m wearing a Bulova WW2 commemorative military style watch that I picked up off of EBay for about $50 years ago. I’ve had to replace the original olive canvas band with a nylon Nato band because it wore out.
I love memes. They can convey a ton of information in a humorous or sarcastic way.
I found this meme today on Reddit. The only change I’d make to it is to add Grass Roots North Carolina or your own state-level gun rights group that is unaffiliated with the NRA.
I just wasn’t inspired to post this week for which I apologize. I hope this find from Reddit makes up for it.

As the Taliban consolidate their power in Kabul, Afghanistan, they have started going door to door collecting weapons from private citizens.
Taliban fighters in the Afghan capital, Kabul, started collecting weapons from civilians on Monday because people no longer need them for personal protection, a Taliban official said.
“We understand people kept weapons for personal safety. They can now feel safe. We are not here to harm innocent civilians,” the official told Reuters.
The Taliban also believe in a strict interpretation of Muslim law including women should not leave their homes unless accompanied by a male relative and to be fully covered in a burqa. There are numerous stories of how they have killed or beaten innocent women as they moved back to power.
This leads me to ponder on the the conundrum facing American gun prohibitionists like Everytown, Moms Demand Action, Giffords, and the Brady Campaign. On the one hand you have a group that brutally subjugates women like it was the 7th Century. On the other hand, they want to ban the private possession of firearms saying, in essence, the state will protect you.
Choices are tough.
I came across this meme on James Wesley, Rawles’ Survival Blog. Given the recent actions of BATFE with regard to Polymer80 and to pistol braces, it seemed rather appropos.
Glock started the day with the rollout of their G44 .22 LR pistol. Later this afternoon, Ruger announced a new model of their Mark IV 22/45 Lite.
Unlike Glock’s G44, the new model is more of a change in appearance than anything else. The color change is a diamond gray upper with a gold anodized trigger and barrel. Also unlike the G44, it comes with a threaded barrel to use with a suppressor.
According to Davidson’s Gallery of Guns, the MSRP for the G44 is $430. Meanwhile, according to Ruger, the MSRP for the Mark IV 22/45 will be $559 with a street price in the $450 range. I imagine the G44 will be selling for close to MSRP initially but I could be wrong on that.

My friend Charlie Foxtrot made a comment on a prior Quote of the Day that I thought was especially relevant considering the way young high school students are being used for props by the gun prohibitionists. With his permission, I’ve made a meme out of it. I think he’ll like it.
Contradictory logic seems to be prevalent in the recent debates – if you can call media driven propaganda, debates – over firearm policies and how to protect school children.
At the suggestion of Sean Sorrentino I made yesterday’s quote of the day into a meme using one of those meme generators.
I posted the meme to Twitter yesterday and it seems to have taken off a bit.
