I first met Rev. Kenn Blanchard in 2011 at the NRA Annual Meeting in Pittsburgh. I had been listening to his podcast The Urban Shooter/Black Man with a Gun for a while and liked his take on things. I really got to know Kenn later that year at the Lucky Gunner Blogger Shoot later that spring. He is one of a kind and I feel fortunate to be able to call him my friend. We in the gun culture are also extremely fortunate to have him on our side as he is a tireless advocate for gun rights.
Kenn is now about to broadcast his 500th show. Having been a co-host on The Polite Society Podcast for a couple of years now, I can tell you how rare that is. And how hard!
So congratulations to Pastor Kenn on this feat of endurance and skill. I’m glad he’s out there!

Ken's a solid man with a voice that should be heard by more people. I know him personally and hope you find him a regular source for information and enlightenment.
I recall a man who used to wear a hat Black man with a gun in Virginia Since he did open carry he got stop many times and VCDL came to support him Is this the same person?
I don't think so. Kenn lives in Maryland.
Can't say whether it was Kenn or not, but a lot of VA and MD gun people support each other at rallies; VCDL and MSI people are always mixing up in good ways. Working in VA, traversing DC and sleeping in MD are pretty common around here. Our borders are a heck of a lot more nebulous. There is one bridge on the beltway that has you crossing all three jurisdictions in less than a minute!
Kenn is truly one of the GOOD guys! I've enjoyed the chats and his podcasts for a long time!
